What is Metal Band Saw Machine?

Circular sawing machine

Band saw

The ring saw band is tensioned on two saw wheels, and the saw wheel drives the saw band to cut. There are two main types of band sawing machines: vertical and horizontal. The saw frame of the vertical band saw machine is set vertically, and the workpiece moves during cutting to cut the curved contour of the sheet material and the formed part. The saw band can also be replaced with a file chain or an abrasive belt for filing or polishing. The saw frame of the horizontal band saw machine is arranged horizontally or obliquely and feeds in the vertical direction or the direction of swinging around a point. The saw band is generally twisted by 40° to keep the saw teeth perpendicular to the workpiece. Horizontal type is divided into scissors type, double column, single column type band saw. According to the usage, it is divided into manual type (economical manual feeding and manual cutting of materials), automatic type. According to the automation program of the controller, it can be divided into manual type ( Semi-automatic manual feeding) automatic type (automatic feeding and automatic cutting).

Hack saw

The hack saw equipped with the saw blade makes reciprocating motion and feeds by the saw frame swinging around a single point. The machine tool has a simple structure, small volume, but low efficiency. The trajectory of the saw blade of the hack saw machine has two kinds of linear and arc. When arcing, the saw bow swings a small angle around a point. Each saw tooth has a large cutting amount, easy chip removal, and high efficiency. Most new bow saws adopt this method.

Structure

The main components of the sawing machine are the bottom seat, the bed, the column, the saw beam and the transmission mechanism, the guide device, the workpiece clamping, the tensioning device, the feeding frame, the hydraulic transmission system, the electrical control system, the lubrication, and cooling system.

Base

The base is a box-shaped structure welded by a steel plate. The bed and column are fixed on it. There is a large space in the inner cavity of the base. The front left side is the electrical button control box, and the right side is the electrical switchboard box. The middle is welded by a steel plate. The hydraulic oil tank is equipped with a hydraulic pump station and hydraulic pipelines. On the right side are the cooling fluid tank and water pump.

Bed frame

The bed is made of cast iron and fixed on the base. The column is composed of a large and small cylinder. The large circular column is used as a guide rail for the saw frame to support the up and down movement of the saw beam and to ensure accurate guidance. The small cylinder plays an auxiliary role. Ensure the normal cutting of the saw blade. In the middle are a clamping vise and a manual feeding mechanism. The front of the vise is connected with a workbench for receiving finished parts. The clamping device on the left is for clamping the screw rod to pass through the inner hole of the hydraulic clamping cylinder rod.
