The error caused by wire cutting refers to the difference between the workpiece obtained after cutting and the original expected value of the production result. Do you know the source of the error of the wire cutting?
Calculation error: This is a human reason, which can be detected early. Premature rounding of intermediate calculations, repeated use of an irrational number with insufficient digits (e.g. multiple cogs), confusing the decimal angle system with the degrees, minutes, seconds system, etc.
Machine tool control error: the frequency of occurrence is very small, because today’s machine tool control system has been tried and tested, and the technology is mature. It rejects human error and can also be checked or zeroed before processing. Errors accumulated over multiple rotations and translations can also be found by checking back to zero.
Machine tool accuracy: This usually refers to mechanical accuracy, that is, the difference between the actual value and the theoretical value. The most direct reasons for this difference are backlash, straightness and perpendicularity. The range of this difference should be between 0.005 ~ 0.02mm, this value can be measured and adjusted. As far as the current machine tool structure is concerned, it is easy to control this error value below 0.02mm, but it is very difficult to achieve it below 0.005mm.
Material deformation: As long as you have good operating habits, preview after calculation, check after input, reset to zero before starting work, and check the scale of the handwheel. You have to make sure you are right and the machine tool is right. The rest are deformations, but the reasons for the deformations and the methods to overcome them need to be carefully considered.
