How to use CNC plate shear to separate steel plates?

Before using the shears to separate the steel plates, make sure of the correct installation. It is necessary to adjust the fuselage and blade clearance and to use the correct cutting method.

1.Adjustment of its fuselage

Before the test run, tighten the anchor bolts around, recheck the installation level, and check all parts of the fuselage in place; Add lubricating oil according to lubricating oil; Adjust the tightness of V-belt; Adjust the spring tightness of the pressing plate; Adjust the tension of the brake belt.

2.Blade clearance adjustment

For the different thicknesses of sheet metal, the edge clearance is different. When adjusting the blade clearance, rotate the flywheel by hand to make the upper tool rest reach the bottom dead center, loosen the screw fixing the blade on the worktable, determine the clearance value according to the thickness of the shear plate, and measure the full length of the blade with a feeler gauge. At this time, vibrate the flywheel to make the upper tool rest move up and down several times, gradually slowly tighten the bolt and nut, and adjust the blade clearance value to meet the requirements.

3.Correct cutting method

The correct way of shearing is to compress the sheet during shearing, which is equipped with a pressing device controlled by a cam lever mechanism to ensure that the pressing force remains unchanged during the shearing process. The feeder has sprung as a buffer. The cutting length is controlled by the backstop device. It is adjusted by a hand wheel and fixed by the handle. Fine adjustment is set at each point to control the cutting angle. When the blanking length exceeds the control range of the backstop, the backstop can be moved away, so that the sheet can pass through without restriction.

A numerical control shearing machine is a kind of mechanical equipment controlled by an advanced computer to realize the shearing function. Because some of its components we use are imported. In this way, on the whole, its performance is undoubtedly very strong. But in terms of accuracy, we have not done enough, so we will apply the compensation function to improve the accuracy.
